A Weekend with Martin Parr

An unexpected weekend assisting Martin Parr during Art Basel Miami Beach in 2004. What began as a late-night job printing Parr’s film for a charity auction turned into a surreal few days. When Parr’s camera broke, I lent him my Nikon F100 and then went on to help him on a spontaneous fashion shoot on Miami Beach. With designer swimwear in a plastic bag and strangers posing in the sun, the day unfolded in true Parr style.

Exhibition: Paradise Found
